One More Good Day
Thunderstorm Risk Tonight & Tuesday
Dry weather is hanging on for one more day and we will see sunshine for most of the day. However the satellite loop is showing clouds to the west with some shower and thunderstorm activity. My thinking is that it holds off until this evening in western areas like Western New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania and moves through tonight. The issue is Tuesday into Tuesday night with the front getting hung up a bit. This introduces the risk for severe weather but the Storm Prediction Center is indicating a marginal risk which to me means isolated severe thunderstorms mixed in among other showers and thunderstorms running around.

Once all this is done we will dry out for Wednesday and Thursday before another cold front approaches on Friday. This is going to essentially be a wash rinse repeat type of deal. Friday could wind up being just like today with some evening thunderstorms. Right now I am cautiously optimistic for Saturday and very optimistic for Sunday and Monday given that this is a holiday weekend coming up. Here is the latest JOESTRADAMUS post on that.
