Independence Day Holiday Weekend Looking Good

Holiday Weekend Outlook Storms Possible Friday

Lingering Chance Saturday

Dry & Sunny Sunday Monday

After looking over the latest run of models there is no change in my overall outlook for this coming 4th of July holiday weekend. We continue to remain in the same pattern as described yesterday on my JOESTRADAMUS long range post. Here is a break down of how I think it all plays out

Independence Day Holiday Weekend

FRIDAY JULY 1ST OUTLOOOK

gfs114 Independence Day Holiday Weekend

Friday is getaway day for most and we will have a cold front approaching and attempting to move through. I think this creates the risk of showers and thunderstorms. However the front has weak dynamics with it. The upper air support is not all that strong. Much of Friday will be rain free warm and humid. I do not think anything gets in the way of traveling in any direction Friday afternoon and evening though I would keep tabs on the weather just in case there are isolated strong thunderstorms.

SATURDAY JULY 2 OUTLOOK

Saturday’s issue will be the stalled front which probably means at least some clouds are going to be around so it won’t be picture perfect. I envision some sun in the mix. Any thunderstorms more than likely will be south of the cold front. This could put coastal Southern New Jersey at risk for some thunderstorms but not much else to the north. Dry air will be very close by so we could see some of that filter down. Certainly no widespread all day rain is indicated here.

SUNDAY & MONDAY JULY 3-4 OUTLOOK

gfs156 Independence Day Holiday Weekend

Sunday and Monday looks good for both days as high pressure builds in. Lots of sunshine both days with highs in the low to mid 80s and nights in the 60s. No thunderstorms or showers are forecast both days as the front shifts well to the south. These should be great days for whatever outdoor activities you have planned. I don’t anticipate changing this view unless the front really gets hung up all weekend and the dry air and high pressure wind up being weaker and further north.

Don’t be without Meteorologist Joe Cioffi’s weather app. It is really a meteorologist app because you get my forecasts and my analysis and not some automated computer generated forecast based on the GFS model. This is why your app forecast changes every 6 hours. It is model driven with no human input at all. It gives you an icon, a temperature and no insight whatsoever.

It is a complete weather app to suit your forecast needs. All the weather information you need is right on your phone. Android or I-phone, use it to keep track of all the latest weather information and forecasts. This weather app is also free of advertising so you don’t have to worry about security issues with your device. An accurate forecast and no worries that your device is being compromised.

Use it in conjunction with my website and my facebook and twitter and you have complete weather coverage of all the latest weather and the long range outlook. The website has been redone and upgraded. Its easy to use and everything is archived so you can see how well Joe does or doesn’t do when it comes to forecasts and outlooks.

Just click on the google play button or the apple store button on the sidebar for my app which is on My Weather Concierge. Download the app for free. Subscribe to my forecasts on an ad free environment for just 99 cents a month.
