Cold Night Frost Freeze Warnings Warmer Late Week
A cold night frost freeze warnings are up across much of the area tonight. Away from warmer urban centers many areas will see temperatures down in the upper 20s and lower 30s. It is a cold finish to the month of October which was among the warmest ever and in some places it finishes #1.
On the satellite loop tonight we see clouds to the north and west but they should remain across upstate NY & New England. Skies across the coastal areas and nearby will be partly to mostly clear tonight.

To the west and south we see lots of clouds as milder air begins to move eastward. Those clouds will arrive on Wednesday after some early morning sun with highs in the 50s. Radars should be quiet into Wednesday afternoon but some showers should pop up late in the day to the west across Pennsylvania in response to the milder air moving east.

Thursday and Friday we warm up. Thursday we will see clouds and the risk for a passing shower along with some breaks of sun. Highs should reach the 60s to near 70.
FRIDAY’S FORECAST HIGHS
Friday we will be into the 70s before a cold front comes through later in the day. The front is weak so there might just be a passing shower with that. The weekend will be much cooler with clouds and highs in the 50s thanks to a high pressure area building to the north and an onshore flow that develops.There might be some showers coming in on Sunday before another cold front arrives on Monday.
