We have a lot of clouds around along with some patchy fog in this warm air mass with more record highs. Now comes the next cold front and with that front we have some showers ahead of it. Temperatures will fall behind it and then it turns colder overnight into Monday. Temperatures will eventually settle in the 30s and lower 40s.
Monday will be dry. Monday evening we will begin to see moisture come up from the southwest. Cold air will continue to filter in Monday night for awhile so as the precpitation moves into that colder air we will see sleet and freezing rain develop along with some wet snow flakes in the mix. Gradually the precipitation will spread into Southern New England and Upstate New York where you will be deeper in the colder air.
