We have improving weather conditions underway today but there is still one last upper air disturbance to work through this morning. Otherwise it will be a gradual trend to partly sunny skies and temperatures will head back into the lower 80s. This is the start of what will be a couple of nice day.

The satellite loop this morning shows low pressure surface and aloft in Northern New England moving away to the east. Dry air is coming in at low and mid levels from the west. There could be a shower or two into early this afternoon but this should favor areas north and east of the coast.

Radar loops show some showers swinging across upstate New York and New England. If we get a shower it should be brief and no big deal.

Week Ahead Outlook
Monday and Tuesday look very good with lots of sunshine. Monday’s highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Tuesday’s highs in the low to middle 80s. Temperatures will move up through the 80s to near 90 as we move through the rest of the week. This of course comes with an increase in humidity. The next chance for any thunderstorms will be later Thursday and Friday with a cold front.
