Bad Hair Weather Hot Steamy Monday Tuesday

It was quite the hot day across the entire region with lots of sunshine and temperatures that peaked in the 90s. Clouds cover was minimal today and showers and thunderstorms were non existent for the first time in quite awhile. Now we move on to day 2 of 90 plus temperatures. The satellite loop tonight shows very little in the way of cloud cover and the radars are silent. It will be a warm humid clear night with lows in the low to mid 70s.

Monday will pretty much be a repeat performance of today with highs reaching the low to mid 90s. There will be plenty of sunshine and once again it should be a thunderstorm free day thanks to a strong upper high parked along the East Coast.

MONDAY FORECAST HIGH TEMPERATURES

Tuesday will be day 3 of 90 degree plus temperatures but hopefully it will be the last of the streak of 90s. Sunshine will be with us most of the day and it will be hot and humid of course. Late in the day and into Tuesday night a cold front approaches with the risk for thunderstorms. This front is likely to get hung up a bit on Wednesday so the threat for showers and thunderstorms will remain. There should be enough of a push of dry air to bring slightly lower humidity with some sunshine Thursday and Friday.

Hurricane Hector is once again a category 4 hurricane with winds of 130 mph. Here is my video from earlier today regarding Hector and Hawaii.
