Autumn Weekend Showers Overnight Saturday Morning
Autumn Weekend Showers Overnight Saturday Morning
The gradual cool down continues as we are now heading into an autumn weekend with cool air. There is one weather system we have to work through and that is a secondary cold front pushing across the Great Lakes this morning with clouds and some showers. We could see those move through here overnight into Saturday morning. Otherwise today it is sunshine with some clouds and highs just in the upper 60s to around or just over 70. Satellite lops show Tropical Storm Maria and Hurricane Lee moving away to the east northeast out in the Atlantic and they will no longer be heard from as they will be absorbed by a large storm in the North Atlantic.
SATELLITE LOOP
REGIONAL RADAR
Shower activity overnight into Saturday morning should not amount to much. Then we should see some developing sunshine through the clouds on Saturday with highs in the 60s.
SUNDAY’S FORECAST HIGH TEMPERATURES
Temperatures Saturday night will drop into the 40s. Then Sunday looks nice and sunny with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Next week we will see another ridge of high pressure building aloft in the east which means warmer than average temperatures will get underway once again and we may see one or two days with temperatures back into the 80s. No widespread rainfall is in sight as the pattern remains very dry.
