Another Sunny Chilly Day Week Ahead Outlook
Another benign day is ahead of us as our dry weekend weather continues. With the clocks back an hour we enjoy sunshine that comes to an end hour sooner with sunsets inside of 5pm rather than 6pm. If you took advantage of the extra hours sleep you lost an hour of sun. Temperatures today will reach into the low and mid 50s as high pressure builds along the East Coast. Expect nothing more than a few passing clouds today. Radars are on hiatus in the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states.

Tonight will be another cold early November night of clear skies and light winds which means inland areas will be in the 20s to lower 30s. Warmer urban centers will be above freezing with most lows in the mid to upper 30s.
Monday looks like another nice day of sunshine but again temperatures will be in the chilly side of average with highs just in the low to mid 50s with no issues. The next weather front will arrive on Tuesday as the northwest flow from Canada continues to bring shots of colder air into the Eastern US. It keeps our temperatures at seasonal levels and we should warm up a little ahead of the front on Tuesday with a southwest wind.
The front is weak and it will probably produce some clouds though there should be some sun in the mix. There is the chance there could be a passing brief shower though the chances are rather low. Once the front passes another high builds in with some chilly air for Wednesday into Thursday.
Wednesday brings back some sunshine with highs going lower and back to the mid and upper 50s. The we get ready for the next weather system and cold front that will arrive for the end of the week. This will bring us a rather cold Friday and weekend. Whether a wave comes along over the weekend on the frontal boundary is an open question.
The northern part of this jet stream pattern looks to be rather strong as it sharpens a trough right along the East Coast. It would seem to suggest a limited amount of room here regarding any kind of wave coming eastward and then turning northward up the coast.
The pattern will continue to favor cold fronts coming down from Canada with shots of colder air behind it for the foreseeable future at least and in spite of the weather hysterics out there, it would seem bringing any type of storm into that cold air is a tough sell at this stage.
