Winter Weather Advisory Hudson Valley & Connecticut
Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for parts of the Hudson Valley, Passaic County in Northern New Jersey and for all of Connecticut except the northwest corner. Snow is on the radar this morning across Pennsylvania and moving east. Start time should be from 9am to 11am and it should end sometime very late this afternoon in western areas and this evening in eastern areas.
There are absolutely no changes to my original forecast from 3 days ago. We will see a broad area of a coating to a couple of inches with the higher amounts going north. There will be some variablilty in the amounts which is not unusual in systems like this.

Radars will begin to get busy shortly/ Temperatures bottomed in the upper teens and low 20s in many areas this morning so the ground is cold and the snow will stick. Tonight the snow will be done and we will see lows in the mid 20s to low 30s so some refreeze is possible. Once this ends Wednesday looks mild with some sunshine with highs in the 40s before it turns colder for the rest of the week and into the weekend.
