4th of July Holiday Weekend Nears
As the 4th of July Holiday weekend inches closer we really don’t see too many changes in the outlook overall between now and Tuesday. As long as there are no stalling fronts and weather systems keep in moving along in a regular fashion, the weather most of the time will be okay. Of course there will be risks for scattered thunderstorms along the way but this is typical for this time of year. As far as today is concerned we have a warm front going by to our north and clouds moving through this morning are already giving way to sunshine to our west. It should be partly to mostly sunny before too long and temperatures today will reach the 80s everywhere. Humidity will be a little higher but still on the reasonable side.

Radars are showing showers going by to our north across upstate NY & New England. There is no shower threat for our area today or tonight.

Friday brings heat and humidity but not extreme heat and the chance for a scattered thunderstorm. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
No changes in the weekend outlook for now. Overnight weather models seem to be speeding up Sunday’s cold front to Saturday night which would mean some scattered thunderstorms Saturday evening and night, and not much for Sunday. We will see if models hold to that later today. Monday and Tuesday still look good with no worse than a mix of sun and clouds and warm but not overly humid. We will see if weather models hold to this later today.
