Winter Weather Advisory S New Jersey Continues
There are no changes and no additional advisories being added for other areas. The winter weather advisory covers the southern half of New Jersey south of Route 195. This area stands the best chance of seeing an inch or two of snow. Afternoon weather models continue to be underwhelming regarding snow amounts. The major ocean storm will track to the east and offshore before moving northeast. This keeps the major precipitation field offshore. Amounts for northern areas toward New York City and Long Island have been lowered. Snow should begin around or after midnight and should be done by midday Friday. The faster movement further east will probably mean improving weather conditions Friday afternoon across the entire forecast area.
