Weekend Weather Improves Warm Weather Next Week
Weather conditions this evening continue to be under the control of low pressure moving through Northern Maine with clouds sweeping around it from the northwest to the southeast. There were some scattered light showers around this afternoon and a few more could be around this evening before they weaken. Skies will remain cloudy for awhile tonight but dry air is advancing southeast across the Great Lakes and skies should clear by daybreak Saturday. The air across the Northeast is chilly and will remain so through Saturday with most lows tonight in the 30s and highs on Saturday in the 50s.

Radars will go quiet overnight and remain quiet through Tuesday. Warmer air will begin to arrive on Sunday with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 60s. Monday and Tuesday look like two very warm spring days with sunshine and highs in the 70s. Tuesday we could see some 80 degree readings away from the ocean.
There are no major storms on the horizon for at least the next week and the chance for showers will be limited to a few scattered around Tuesday night and again late Thursday night as two weak fronts move through. The overall pattern would favor warmer than average temperatures beginning Sunday and continuing for the most part for the next 2 weeks.
