The 90 degree temperatures are behind us and we will see temperatures in the 80s over the next few days. We have lost the westerly component to the wind and instead we are turning it more to the south. So the result is that the 90s are done but what is not done is the humidity. In fact it will be very high for the next few days and arguably it will be even more uncomfortable with dewpoints in the low 70s and temperatures in the 80s. The good news for those looking for some rain is that a weather front will be approaching Thursday night and Friday. With the abundance of tropical moisture and a decent trigger mechanism, widespread downpours and thunderstorms could be in the cards for Thursday night and part of Friday. Before then, some pop up thunderstorms are going to be around on Wednesday and those could produce locally heavy downpours. We saw a few of those around the area on Tuesday. 
No real dry air is in the cards until we get a good push of cool air from Canada and that is not going to happen until early next week.
