Warmer Sunday Ahead
The core of the cold air has moved out to the east. What we are left with is a west wind that will develop overnight and Sunday. For now winds are light and skies are clear so that is allowing inland areas to radiate and temperatures are already falling through the 30s in those areas.
Sunday will bring us a good deal of sunshine and temperatures that will be warmer recover through the 50s and reach near or over 60 in some areas. Clouds to the north are dropping southeastward but much of that cloud cover should weaken as it nears our latitude.
Radars are quiet and will remain so through Monday. On Monday we will see sunshine mixing with soe arriving high clouds as low pressure develops to the south. That system should be rather weak as it passes by to the east on Tuesday. There could be a period of rain with that but much of it should be along the immediate coast and areas to the east and it doesn’t look like much at this point.
Longer term weather models have a rather busy pattern developing as low pressure systems from the Pacific begin moving east. Models are bullish on the prospects for rain however given the stranglehold the drought pattern has over us, JOESTRADAMUS remains cautious in his outlook,
