Warm Weather This Weekend
Warm Weather This Weekend
We have warm weather to look forward to this weekend particularly Sunday when temperatures could reach the 60s away from the ocean and some record highs are possible. This comes as the pattern goes through another flip back to warmer conditions for about a week or so and then flipping back to somewhat colder. This has been the signature of the entire winter season.
WARM WEATHER SUNDAY FORECAST HIGHS
Meanwhile this morning the third major storm in 6 days is beginning to develop as low pressure moves across upstate You can see on the satellite loop two separate streams of energy moving along in the flow. What saves us is that they do not come in line until they are well east of the coast. This will bring another round of big snows to Maine, New Hampshire and Northeastern Massachusetts. For us we could see a couple of showers or some snow showers late this afternoon and evening.

REGIONAL RADAR
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
The northern edge of the rain on the local radars this morning are reaching southernmost New Jersey down into Delaware. That area stays south and east. To the north some scattered areas of snow are showing up and one or two of them could hold together and swing by this evening. Otherwise we will be fighting clouds today and temperatures in the 40s to near 50 in some places. Then it turns breezy overnight as skies partially clear with lows in the 20s to near 30.
Thursday will be a breezy to occasionally windy day as this major storm cranks up the winds will be on the order of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to near 40 and not like they were on Monday. Sunshine and clouds will rule the day with highs in the 30s to near 40. Friday will be dry and cold with sunshine and highs in the 30s to near 40.
Then warmer temperatures arrive on Saturday with sunshine and highs reaching the 50s away from any ocean influence. Areas that have deep snow cover near the coast could see their temperatures struggle a bit. Sunday will be nice and warm with highs in the 50s to near 60. The dry weather continues into early next week though temperatures may ease a bit.
