Weekend Dry With Sunshine
Dry air from Eastern Canada is moving southward and that will keep us under mostly clear skies tonight. Satellite loops only show some patchy clouds around which will disappear before too long. Temperatures overnight will be in the 60s with some 50s in cool spots. It is another night where you can sleep with the air conditioning off and the windows open. Radars are inactive locally with much of the shower and thunderstorm activity today confined to Northern New England.

Thursday looks very good with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 80s except of course cooler at the shore with local sea breeze action in the afternoon and evening.
Friday is getaway day and there will be a cold front approaching. I think much of the day we will see a mix of sun and clouds and probably more clouds than sun overall. Late in the day we could see some showers and thunderstorms. The front is going to just move along and this will bring in another dry air mass for the weekend. Friday’s temperatures will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Im not sure about whether there will be severe weather or not. The front is not all that strong. We will evaluate that issue on Thursday. Saturday through Monday will be dry with sunshine much of the time and temperatures will be in the 80s by day and in the 60s to near 70 by night with reasonable humidity.
Longer range the next round of rain will come on Tuesday and JOESTRADAMUS has more on that plus the prospect for some hot weather for a few days later next week.
