Thunderstorms Thursday Hold Temperatures Below 90
A bit of a change in the forecast as we have Thunderstorms Thursday. What is changing in the forecast is that these storms will be moving through a bit earlier in the day. The result will be that temperatures will probably be lower across the area due to this. Some spots might get close to 90 but we will not see widespread 90s like we did on Wednesday.

The clouds from this will start moving later this morning and some downpours could begin firing up before lunch time in some places. Later this afternoon don’t be surprised if a few strong thunderstorms develop out of all this.

The HRRR model for Thursday afternoon at 4pm shows a cluster of thunderstorms in Northeastern New Jersey with other cells scattered around the area. Be careful as these thunderstorms could produce some heavy downpours.
Friday we will see another disturbance and cold front approach but thunderstorms will hold off until after sunset Friday. This will allow temperatures to climb into the 90s Friday afternoon everywhere. Showers could linger into Saturday morning before humidity levels begin to drop and weather conditions improve. Saturday afternoon should be no worse than partly sunny and the rains will be done. Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Sunday will be sunny with low humidity. Highs Sunday will be in the 80s.
