Some Thunderstorms Possible Next 2 Days
It certainly was a hot sunny afternoon around our entire region. Highs this afternoon reached the upper 80s to lower 90s. The humidity was high but there were no trigger mechanisms for thunderstorms at all. So now we look ahead to a very warm and humid night with most lows in the upper 60s to middle 70s. The satellite loop shows the first of three disturbances heading our way. We are seeing thunderstorms blowing up this evening over the Ohio Valley. That disturbance will get here later Thursday and introduces the chance for some afternoon downpours and thunderstorms developing. Ahead of it look for partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.

Friday and Weekend Outlook
Friday we will see another upper air disturbance approaching in the evening with another chance for showers and thunderstorms. Before that it will be hot and humid day with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.

Saturday we will see a cold front approach and move through. Humidity levels actually will drop a little on Saturday but a northwest wind will probably send temperatures to 90 to 95 in most areas. Once that front passes offshore we will see cooler drier air for a few days. Sunday will be sunny and nice with low humidity and highs in the 80s. The same will hold for Monday. The front puts a temporary end to the hot temperatures.
