Sunshine Developing Upper 70s Lower 80s Next 2 Days
We are starting out in a better place this morning with fewer low clouds and drier air than yesterday. A weak cold front washed out last night as the remnants moved through. Radars are showing some showers and thunderstorms out in the ocean moving away. For the rest of the day we should see increasing amounts of sunshine developing and with a warm air mass in place, upper 70s to lower 80s will be the highs across most of the area today except right along the immediate coast.
The satellite loop is showing another area of clouds shooting across the Ohio Valley and this disturbance will pass us during the early morning hours Saturday so around day break tomorrow there could be a downpour or a thunderstorm. But by mid morning the sun will be out in most of the area and temperatures again will be reaching into the upper 70s and lower 80s.
Notice that 80s will be coming even along areas with south facing coasts like Long Island and much of Southern New England so unless you are right along the immediate coast, the west wind will be prevalent most of the day.

Saturday evening a front backs through from the north. Again a passing shower or thunderstorm is possible. Sunday will be about 15 degrees cooler with highs just in the 60s, an ocean wind, and clouds with some breaks of sun.
