Sunday Sunshine Week Ahead Forecast

We saw improvement across the area during the afternoon as clouds thinned out and moved east and ssunshine gradually gained control. Shower and thunderstorm activity was non existent so it turned out to be a pretty good Saturday. Now we head into Sunday with dry coming down from the Eastern Great Lakes and that should give us a nice clear night tonight with lows in the 60s to near 70.

SUNDAY SUNSHINE FORECAST AFTERNOON HIGHS

Sunday looks nice and sunny with just a few patchy clouds with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Humidity levels will be moderate so it should be reasonably comfortable. A good beach day is certainly on the menu for Sunday.

The week ahead looks very warm with increasing humidity and a chance for scattered late day thunderstorms mostly away from the coast on Monday & Tuesday. Temperatures will reach the upper 80s to around or just over 90 in some places. Wednesday & Thursday look hot and humid with scattered thunderstorms and highs reaching the upper 80s and lower 90s..perhaps a few spots a bit higher. Another cold front approaches at the end of the week with the chance for showers and thunderstorms on Friday. Behind that front we should see a nice dry air mass for next week. The pattern remains pretty much the same with fronts every 3 days or so. There is no real sign of that pattern breaking down anytime soon.
