Sun Returns Thursday Rain Friday Weekend Forecast

We have a little bit more work to do with regards to today’s clouds and occasional rain that is still around on the radar but as we move through the overnight the rain will continue to lift northward into New England and weather conditions will very slowly improve. It may take awhile for clouds to move out as the cloud cover to the west remains rather extensive. We should partially clear out late tonight and set up for a nice day on Thursday with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the 60s to near 70.

Two more weather systems are in play with the first one on Friday. Another low moves up the coast with an area of rain that arrives during Friday morning and lasts into the evening. This looks like another round of a 1/2 inch to an inch of rain at most in some places. This system moves along and the next one approaches later on Saturday.

GFS RAINFALL FORECAST FRIDAY APRIL 27, 2018

Saturday looks like a mix of sun and clouds until late in the day when a cold front approaches with a few showers. Most of the day should be dry and high will reach the upper 60s and lower 70s before the front comes through.

GFS FORECAST SATURDAY APRIL 28 2018

Sun Returns Thursday Rain Friday Weekend Forecast

Chilly dry air arrives on Sunday with some sunshine and clouds and highs just in the upper 50s and lower 60s. However once this high pulls offshore a big warm up begins next week. An upper high builds along the East Coast which will send temperatures higher. We should be back to near 70 on Monday with lots of sun and beginning on Tuesday temperatures rise. 70s will be the highs on Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday will see highs into the 80s. Even coastal areas will participate with winds more westerly than southerly. We should see plenty of sun for most of next week.
