Spectacular Friday Rain Saturday Into Sunday
This morning’s satellite loop shows clear skies across much of the northeast which means we are going to have a beautiful Friday of sunshine. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 70s to around 80 in a few spots away from the ocean. Clearly this will be the best day of the week!
Spectacular Friday Radar Loops
No worries on the radar for today or tonight as we should have a clear night with some high clouds coming in well after midnight. Lows overnight will be in the 50s to a few 40s in cold spots.
Rain develops Saturday as low pressure moves up the coast. All overnight and mid run weather models shifted northward which makes it more bullish for a significant rainfall. The gfs model rainfall forecast amounts have doubled overnight and the most aggressive nam model has double the GFS!
Sunday we will see lots of clouds and with a cold unstable atmosphere aloft, we could see some showers developing during the afternoon and evening. More lingering showers will be around for early next week,
