Northeast Snow Forecast Tonight Through Monday
National Weather Service Northeast snow forecast maps have been updated. Winter Storm Warnings are posted for Northeast NY State and Northern Vermont and extended southward into Northwestern Massachusetts. Lake Effect Snow Warnings are posted for various areas in Western and North Central New York. Also various advisories and warnings are posted for the Western half of Pennsylvania.
Below are the snowfall forecast maps for areas from Pennsylvania to Northern New England. These maps were updated as of 9am Saturday. They will also automatically update when the National Weather Service updates their forecasts so you can check back here later today for the latest information. Certainly it appears that northern ski areas will be picking up some snows for some Thanksgiving skiing.
Weather models this afternoon actually are more bullish with lake effect snow and backside snow with the cold front coming through tonight.
