Snow Forecast Weekend
Late tonight into Saturday morning there might be enough cold air for a change to sleet or wet snow over the Northwest Corner of New Jersey, Northeastern Pennsylvania and points northeastward on the Eastern side of the Catskills. Normally a storm like this should produce more widespread wet snow but the air is just not cold enough. The snow forecasts are through the daytime Sunday. I think there is the chance for some snow showers or a burst of snow late Sunday into Monday morning for much of the area from Southeast New York, New Jersey, Northeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New England but these maps only go through Sunday afternoon.

Radar is showing the rain moving up from the south. If any mixing or change occurs in the northwestern areas from the coast it will not occur until well after midnight. The precipitation will be moving out quickly after daybreak.
