Snow Forecast For Saturday..Its Your Turn
After the snowstorm from a few days ago it occurs to me that the evolving snow threat this weekend offers an opportunity. Since some of you seem to think that this is something that is so easy and simple to do, I’m going to leave it to everyone to come up with their own snow forecasts. I will put up the NAM model which did exceptionally well in the last storm. I will also put up the Canadian model which also did well. You can click to animate the maps to see how they move this weather system through time.
You should be able to make a snow forecast from these maps without too much difficulty. Oh and be sure to understand that whatever forecast you make right now…you can’t change it. Your stuck with it no matter what because after all this is so simple to do!
For the record this is my snow map from last night which was my first early call map. I usually stick with those for awhile until we get closer to the event. If you want to see more models go to Tropical Tidbits and you can look at 20 or 30 of them if you like
