Snow Forecast Maps Today Christmas Eve Christmas Day

This morning we have Winter Weather Advisories up for much of New York State & New England as the frontal boundary to the west pushes east, a warm front trying to move northward along the coast, and cold air wedging down from Northern New England. Temperatures along and north of Route 84 are near or below freezing this morning and may not have much success in getting above the freezing mark today. Icing however becomes a bigger issue further north with the cold a embedded at the surface over a rather extensive snow cover which exists across much of Central & Northern New England.

Check the National Weather Service time stamps on the maps for valid times since some of these maps may not include snow forecast for Sunday night into Monday morning. The maps for New York & New Jersey are forecasts for Sunday night into Monday morning.

I am going to keeping posting to a minimum today and Sunday so that we can all enjoy Christmas with a minimal amount of distraction.
