SHORE REPORT: HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS FOR LONG ISLAND SOUTH SHORE ON THURSDAY

If you are beach bound Thursday really beware of the rip currents. A wind off the ocean that began yesterday continues and this, coupled with low pressure out near Bermuda are going to start kicking up seas a bit. The risk is high so be sure to swim only in designated safer swim areas and pay close attention to lifeguards. Rip currents can take down even the strongest swimmers.
