Rain Falling Apart On Radar This Morning
In spite of the strong upper air system to the west and what at least appeared to be a set up for some solid heavy downpours this morning has turned into a much weaker area of rain. In fact from last nights loaded radars we see the rain falling apart as it moves northward this morning. Where it is raining appears to be on the light side as the area continues to move from south to north. There will be some more rain to contend with on and off for the rest of today before low pressure develops right along the New Jersey coast tonight. This should create a second surge of rain with some heavy downpours. It is hard not to have your doubts about this considering the state of the radar at the moment.

Weather models are still insistent on a 1 to 2 inch rainfall when all is said and done late tonight. Somehow I have my doubts about this at this stage of the game considering what has happened so far.
No changes in the outlook for Friday and the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. Clouds and the chance for passing showers Friday. Saturday looks good with a mix of sun and clouds. Sunday early sun and then clouds and maybe some showers late and at night. Same holds for Monday. Temperatures will be on the average side right through the weekend and into next week.
