Hurricane Patricia will make landfall sometime tonight and then the moisture and whatever core circulation survives will emerge in the Western Gulf of Mexico over the weekend and it is possible that it may reform as a tropical storm once it gets there. The moisture from Patricia will eventually spread into East Texas and Louisiana and it is possible that some of that moisture will get involved with the next weather system that approaches us for the middle of next week bringing us a much needed soaking rain.
