Outside of some passing clouds Saturday night and from time to time at other points during the next 3 days, the Presidents Day holiday weekend will be about as perfect as it can be for the middle of February. We have sunshine today with less wind and while started the day in the 20s, temperatures this afternoon will reach into the 40s. Other than some passing clouds to the west the satellite loop this morning shows dry air from the East Coast to the Plains States. Radars are nice and quiet and should remain so right through Monday.

As far as Saturday and Sunday go there should be a good deal of sunshine both days with highs in the 50s to near 60 in some places. The only areas that will probably be held back some will be ocean facing areas like Long Island Coastal Connecticut and New Jersey where the sea breeze might be an issue Saturday afternoon. I don’t think it will be on Sunday with more of a northwest wind.

Monday will be a shade cooler with sunshine and highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s as a big high builds to our north. No rain is the forecast until next Thursday at the earliest.
