New Free Weather App Debuts Plus Changes in Meteorologist Joe Cioffi

NEW FREE WEATHER APP

4 years ago I started on this journey of building my own weather presence on the internet and on social media. The growth has been astounding to watch. I quickly came to understand that this new tech world we live in allows me to control and produce my weather. For the first time in my career I actually own what I create and don’t have to answer to anyone. It is a very freeing experience. Now it is time to take it to the next level. We are launching today a new FREE app. It is available on google play and on I-Tunes. You will get posts that will load quickly and easily…ads will be kept to an absolute minimum..easy access to the latest video. Most importantly will be notifications. Many of you have complained to me that you are not getting notifications when I go live. That’s because Facebook limits notifications even if you have them turned on. The app is free but I do ask that you consider joining Patreon for $2 a month. More on Patreon below.

Over the last 2 years the audience on my youtube channel as tripled and continues to grow rapidly. The sad reality is that Facebook has become insidious in a number of ways. I have recently had to deal with a de-monitizaion from Facebook for “violating their posting policies” however they would not tell me what the violation was. Those of you who know me and are on my page see that I am seldom if ever political. I treat everyone respectfully. They have also reduced my reach and have cut back on the number of people who actually see my posts. I want to get away from being at the whim of the Facebook posting police. The environment there is growing increasingly nasty and I would rather be able to get to ALL my followers and not the ones that algorithims decide. While I will be doing live streams there, they will be reduced. For now the Joe & Joe Weather Show will continue however its future on Facebook is uncertain.
