We have beautiful blue skies and sunshine to start your Monday and there are no weather issues to speak of today. We should have plenty of sunshine and nothing more than a few passing clouds with temperatures topping out int eh rather pleasant 70s.

The satellite loop shows skies clear for the most part across the Northeast and Middle Atlantic States this morning. We do have a cold front that will be moving through here on Tuesday with a reinforcement of dry air behind it. That system is beginning to drop into the Western Great Lakes.

Tuesday we will see a mix of sun and clouds and there is the chance for a downpour or a thunderstorm with temperatures in the 70s. A few scattered downpours popped up yesterday late in the day because the air aloft was very cold and unstable. That should not happen today. Wednesday looks bright & sunny with highs again in the 70s. It doesn’t get much more pleasant than this.
Beginning Thursday as the next high moves off the Middle Atlantic Coast we will begin a return to warmer and more humid conditions with sunshine on Thursday. Highs will be in the 80s. Friday wlll be very warm and humid and there begins the risk for scattered thunderstorms. Highs will reach the upper 80s to near 90. The risk for thunderstorms does extend into the weekend as July begins.
