Ice Scrapers Might Be Handy Inland Overnight. It’s not what you think however. With clear skies, light winds and good radiational cooling we may have some fog issues inland across parts of the Hudson Valley and also over the icebox areas in Suffolk County on Long Island and Northwest New Jersey. This morning I had a frosty sheen on my deck that sent the dog flying ( He is okay). You know the weather most be boring if you have to run a headline about ice scrapers. Ice scrapers are one of those items that you seldom can find one when you need one!
Look for temperatures tonight under a clear skies to drop to the 20s and low 30s in many areas away from urban locations. Then Sunday looks nice and sunny with highs in the low to middle 50s. Sunday night and Monday high pressure will shift northward into New England so a north wind will take over. It may be a few degrees cooler on Monday because of this.
Tuesday low pressure to the south should stay to the south and east and might just clip the immediate coast with a little rain but for the most part its clouds with temperatures in the 40s. Wednesday it is back to sunshine with highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s and the rest of the week looks good.
