Hurricane Nicole Category 2 Hurricane Winds 105 MPH
Hurricane Nicole Category 2 Hurricane Winds 105 MPH
Hurricane Nicole continues to strengthen inspite of the fact that it is only about 600 miles east of Hurricane Matthew. Satellite estimates indicate that winds are now 105 mph. You can see the two hurricanes almost side by side here each seemingly in its own environment. Some the outflow from Matthew is producing some shear but apparently it is not stopping Nicole from strengthening. Nicole is no threat to land however it is producing rough seas in and around Bermuda. It remains to be seen how much an influence does Nicole have (if any) on the track of Hurricane Matthew. It seems as if it may have a say in how Matthew orchestrates the loop that models are indicating.
