HURRICANE GUILLERMO EAST OF HILO HAWAII. TOP WINDS 105 MPH AND MOVING WESTWARD TOWARD THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS

The latest Pacific hurricane is about 900 miles west of Hilo Hawaii and 1100 miles west of Honolulu Hawaii with 105 mph winds.

The Hurricane Center in Hawaii has the forecast track just north of the islands and skimming the island chain beginning Wednesday. The forecast also indicates that the hurricane may have already peaked as far as intensity goes as the track now starts to move over slightly colder water.

Meanwhile the Atlantic side remains very quiet. A wave in the Atlantic a few days ago has fallen apart. The el nino pattern continues to keep development subdued on the Atlantic side and it looks to stay that way over the next several days.
