Humidity levels are going up today but honestly it is not going to be that oppressive today as the dew points are climbing into the low to mid 60s which is borderline bearable. Deep blue skies and sunshine will make it hot today nonetheless and highs will reach the upper 80s and some lower 90s across the area.
We do have a cold front coming and that could trigger some thunderstorms tonight. There is the risk for severe weather across Eastern Pennsylvania extending southward toward South Central Pennsylvania but I still think storms will tend to weaken some once they move east of these areas and head for New Jersey and the coast.
Tuesday looks good with lowering humidity..increasing sunshine and temperatures that will still be in the upper 80s to near 90 across New Jersey Southeast NY and along the coast but only in the lower 80s across Northeast Pennsylvania and low to mid 80s as you move south
Wednesday looks dry but we could have a shot for a soaking rain here Thursday into Friday. More on that later today.
