Heavy Snow Continues Over Central & South Jersey
Latest radars show that the heaviest snow bands continue to come from off the ocean and Central & South Jersey coastal counties from Monmouth Southward are seeing moderate to heavy snow and we even saw some thundersnow pop up earlier this evening. Snow rates are 1 to 2 inches an hour there and this should continue for the next several hours.
Elsewhere light to moderate snow is falling up to just north of NYC and into Southwestern Connecticut. Snow has picked up on Long Island as well.
US SATELLITE
The storm is off the Delaware coast as the upper air storm moves across Northern Virginia and heads offshore tonight. Snows will continue until midnight through most of the area and then begin to taper off from west to east. Snow should end on the New Jersey by 4am and by 7am on Long Island

No noreasters are in our future into next week thankfully. It will be chilly through Monday with nothing worse than a mix of sun and clouds each day with highs in the 40s. Tuesday and Wednesday of next week we could see 50s if we play our cards right. No rain is forecast through the weekend.
