Happy Thanksgiving Showers Chilly
We want to start off by wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and that you have a wonderful, festive, and safe day in your travels. There are some showers that we will have to deal with at some point today as indicated by the satellite loop and radars below. Weak low pressure is moving eastward. It appears that whatever showers that are around this morning will be spotty and then they will become more numerous this afternoon into tonight. Temperatures today will be in the chilly 40s all day and probably hold there tonight.
Regional radar shows shower activity moving eastward and there is nothing especially heavy. Rainfall amounts from this weather system should be under a quarter of an inch.
Friday we should see a little improvement though we will see clouds around on Friday and there is still the risk for a few passing showers Friday night though weather models are not especially bullish on the idea. Then it is colder and drier for the weekend with some sunshine and temperatures in the 40s.
If you are New York City bound for the parade watch for a few passing showers otherwise it is just cloudy and chilly with not much wind and temperatures in the 40s.
