GREAT WEATHER HERE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS..WARMER WEATHER FOR THE WEEKEND AND BEYOND

1We have a dry air mass moving in today which will be setting up the weekend warmup and the return to some hot weather into next week. The only issue today will be some developing clouds this afternoon and a spot shower cannot be ruled out over Northeastern Pennsylvania east into the Hudson Valley and interior Connecticut. Other than that the humidity levels should remain low into Friday before it starts to climb. Nights will be cool with lows in the 50s in many cool spots across Northeast Pennyslvania, New Jersey ( away from urban areas) the Hudson Valley, Long Island and Connecticut while urban areas will be in the warmer 60s.

gfs18There is a weak trough that is moving through today that is causing the spot showers. Once that trough goes through no showers are forecast through Friday. The High to the west will eventually settle to our south. This will being the west wind and the warm up on Friday as temperatures head up through the 80s.

gfs54Saturday we will see a weak front approach and that could trigger off a spot late day shower or thunderstorm but no widespread activity is forecast. Some areas could see temperatures approach 90 but most areas will be in the mid to upper 80s. With no real cool push of air coming behind this front temps will be even warmer Sunday into Tuesday with many areas reaching the 90s. The next front of any importance will arrive late Tuesday.

Thamk you as always to tropical tidbits for the great maps.
