FiOS1 News New Jersey Weekend Forecast
New Jersey is going to see a fantastic weekend of weather beginning today with lots of sunshine and temperatures reaching the upper 40s to lower 50s. Satellite shows some patchy clouds to the west and north and while a few could sneak in over the northern part of the state this morning. Central and South Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania should be fine with lots of sun pretty much all day long.
Satellit loop shows the storm off the coast east of Nova Scotia moving away to the east. Looking out west there isn’t anything happening east of the Rockies of importance. So it is a long stretch of 4 days with high pressure building in. Winds will be lower today and drop off tonight under a clear sky. Lows in cold spots likely to be in the 20s.
Moving along into Saturday there are no issues. Sunshine and after a chilly start temperatures should make it up into the 50s which is a good 5 degrees above normal for this time of year. Meterologist Brian Fitzgerald has the latest forecast from the FiOS1 News Weather Center. He also reminds you of what happened in New Jersey on this date in 1957.
No foot of snow this year! Sunday and Monday both look good with sunshine. Sunday it will be in the 50s. Monday it might be a shade cooler as high pressure rebuilds from the north. Right now the issue of rain for Tuesday remains a question however models seem to be leaning to the idea of low pressure tracking east and far enough offshore not to be an issue. Meteorologist Joe Cioffi will tackle that issue tonight on FiOS1 News beginning at 5pm.
Overnight JOESTRADAMUS saw a very interest model run though very confusing and he has his latest video on this.
