Everything remains on course for a very good Fathers Day Weekend Forecast. We are fighting clouds and a few showers this afternoon. The satellite loop shows the clearing line just to our north and it will be sinking slowly southward as the afternoon wears on. The twist of clouds over the Great Lakes is the next upper air disturbance that will be moving west and south of us tonight but the showers and thunderstorms with that will stay to our west.
Radar shows the bulk of the showers now over Southern New Jersey. There are a few stray showers on the northern fringe and they will slide through shortly. Then weather conditions will improve going into this evening and overnight. Clouds are keeping temperatures in the 70s in most places.

Friday looks good with a fair amount of sunshine with just a few patchy clouds. The northeast winds will hold temperatures down but we should still reach the upper 70s to near 80.
Saturday looks good with sunshine and highs reaching into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Sunday we will see lots of sunshine with highs in the 80s. No rain is forecast through the weekend. Monday will hinge on whether clouds come in from off the ocean as that low to the south moves northeast and then hooks back westward before falling apart and heading out to sea. This will hold temperatures down Monday if clouds become a problem.
