Fall Foliage New York, New Jersey, Hudson Valley, Long Island, Pennsylvania, Ohio

The beautiful weather this afternoon across the entire area and nearby has lit up the fall foliage to spectacular images. The light is beautifully reflecting off the colors which are at peak this week with temperatures outside close to 70 making for beautiful sightseeing. Take a ride on the local parkways for some really astounding pictures.

This last picture from Jeramy Daniel from Olmsted, Ohio is just astounding with all the colors and how the greens are reflecting off the water. Just amazing. Thank you to those of you who shared this beauty with the rest of us.

If you have picture you would like to share do please share them on my facebook page and you can go directly to this facebook post. Like the page and post on the running thread. I will reshare them later today in another post. You have to just love this time of year!

The weather for the rest of the afternoon looks terrific with lots of sunshine as highs reach the lower 70s. Skies will be mostly sunny again tomorrow so you will have another day of spectacular viewing with highs again in the lower 70s. Autumn is by far the best season of the year in my view especially when the weather is relatively storm free and calm so we can take the time to enjoy the world around us.  No big storms are on the horizon for the rest of this week and through this coming weekend though temperatures will be turning colder over the weekend.

We have some posts from earlier today including the complete forecast outlook. Also there is the post from last night about the Siberian snow cover index finishing at #3 fastest growing of the last 10 years. And in case you missed it there is my winter forecast for 2015-2016 .
