Easter Weekend From 60s to 80s
This Easter Weekend is about temperatures swings beginning today and Saturday where we will be in the 60s and the jump into the 80s on Sunday though the records for this weekend may be somewhat out of reach. The record temperatures for an Easter Sunday were set back in 1976 when temperatures hit the 90s. In fact that Easter weekend we saw 3 days in a row of 90 degree temperatures. That temperature was the highest recorded for the entire year!
There really isn’t too much happening today other than a few passing high clouds showing up on the satellite loop. We will see sunshine for much if not all day and temperatures into the 60s. Skies tonight should be clear for much if not all night before clouds roll in on Saturday. As we make the transition over to very warm air some downpours are possible late in the day into Saturday night.

Easter Sunday we should break out into some sunshine and a west wind and that will be enough to take temperatures into the 80s. A cold front late in the day will bring the chance for a downpour or thunderstorm before dry cool air returns on Monday. It is a pretty straight forward outlook and there are no big changes in the weather pattern going into next week. The next chance for any rain or showers will probably come along around Wednesday.
