DRYING OUT AFTER BIG STORMS MOVE THROUGH PARTS OF THE AREA OVERNIGHT

I have gone through a personal 2 year drought when it comes to thunderstorms and that finally ended last night at about 5am when one huge clap of thunder was so loud it sounded like something exploded or a tree came down. Long Island northshore hit especially hard. Those storms are long gone now and skies are beginning to clear out this morning. We will see sunshine today with temperatures in the upper 80s to around 90 but the humidity levels will drop considerably especially this afternoon.

Wednesday and Thursday look dry and now there are question marks regarding the soaking rain for Friday into Saturday morning as the European has a very over developed gale center off the coast of New Jersey moving northeast while the gfs now has nothing..bone dry and no worse than Partly Sunny. Im tending to think this is going to slowly back away from showing that soaking rain so we will see what models do later today.
