The satellite loop doesn’t really shows it dry over us but there are 2 systems of note. he first is off the southeast coast of the United States. Some of the clouds from this are arcing back to the northwest and they could come in from the east later this afternoon along coastal areas and there is the chance there could be a touch of light rain tonight near the coast but it won’t amount to much at all, if even enough to make the ground wet. Then Tuesday to the northwest you can see the obvious swirl moving along the Canadian border into the western Great Lakes and that is the next cold front. With it isnt’t much either because there is not gulf moisture or Atlantic moisture that will be getting involved. So Tuesday we will see more clouds than sun and the risk for passing showers. Temperatures will still be in the 70s.

What follows is a cool down for Wednesday through Friday and then cold air for later Friday and the weekend setting us up for the first  widespread frost and freeze for probably Saturday night.
