We are going to have a cold clear night once clouds overhead get out of the way. There are some high clouds around but as the frontal system to the south and east continues to shift southward the cloud line will move offshore.
COLD CLEAR NIGHT AHEAD TUESDAY MORNING FORECAST LOWS
Once that happens with clear skies and light winds, temperatures in may inland areas will be dropping. Morning lows will be in the single digits and teens in most places with the warmer urban areas holding around 20 or so.
Tuesday highs should reach the middle 30s in most areas with lots of sun. Temperatures will rebound on Wednesday with sunshine and temperatures rising into the mid 40s after a chilly start in the 20s. Temperatures will reach the upper 40s to near 50 Thursday. We do have a cold front moving through but it now appears the front should be dry when it passes so nothing more than some clouds. Friday into Sunday look dry with some rain possibly arriving Christmas night as low pressure moves across the Great Lakes. There should be no weather related travel issues all week and for most of the Holiday weekend.
