We aren't seeing too much happening on the satellite this morning with just a few clouds

Last night’s thunderstorms moved along to the southeast as a cold front has now has passed through. Winds have gone around to the northwest though re on the light side. Today we are looking at sunshine mixing with a few clouds. Dew points will be slowly easing and temperatures today will reach the mid to upper 80s. There is a very low risk of a pop up shower or thunderstorm but for the most part I think today will be a rain free day.

REGIONAL RADAR

We aren’t seeing too much happening on the satellite this morning with just a few clouds and the regional and local radars are quiet for the most part. We don’t expect much to happen today as the front is weak and has already passed. There is a secondary front which is really more like a dry line. Dew points will drop once the dry line passes.

We will see skies be mostly clear tonight with lows in the 60s. Monday is shaping up to be a nice day with sunshine, low humidity and highs 80 to 85. This shot of dry air will start to move out Monday night so look for some clouds around. It will be more humid on Tuesday with sun and clouds with some pop up showers or thunderstorms with highs in the 80s.

Wednesday brings the first in a series of cold fronts that will be moving through It will be a very warm and humid day Wednesday with some sunshine and highs in the 80s. Thunderstorms are likely later in the day and we will be evaluating severe weather risk with this system. Other fronts follow later this week and next weekend though not all will have shower and thunderstorm activity with them. We will be figuring all of this in the coming days. We don’t see any prolonged heat or humidity as we move through this week.
