Calm Weather Pattern Continues Eastern US, No Major Storm On the Horizon
Yesterday was a chilly day thanks to high pressure over New England and a cold northeast flow over snow cover and the warm ocean. However that is chanigng today as high pressure moves offshore and we see temperatures moderate. Skies are generally clear up and down the Eastern Seaboard making for a lovely weather day for Eastern Pennsyvlania to Southern New England. Look for lots of sunshine and highs today should be in a general range of 40 to 45 degrees. Radars are nice and quiet and will remain so into Thursday.

Over the next several days and through the weekend we have weak weather fronts that will be passing through and we do not see anything major from these weather fronts. In fact, across most of the US, the weather is calming down. The recent major rain and snowstorm in California is winding down and even in the Western US a short break from storminess is in order.
Thursday in the Eastern US sees a cold front approaching so Thursday we will early sunshine giving way to arriving clouds with most highs in the 40s to around 50. We are looking for a few showers Thursday night into early Friday, followed by slow improvement Friday afternoon. Leftover clouds and some breaks of developing sunshine will leave us with highs in the 40s. We have a cold upper trough moving through Friday night into Saturday which will lead to colder weather. Saturday look for clouds and some sun but it will be breezy and cold with highs just in the 30s. Sunday will also be a cold day of sunshine with highs in the mid 30s to some lower 40s.
