Beautiful Summer Weather Through Friday, Warmer More Humid Weekend Next Week
It was no doubt a beautiful day and a beautiful evening of weather across all of the Northeast & Middle Atlantic States and in fact the nice weather extended all the way into the Deep South which seldom sees dry air like this in the heart of the summer. The frontal boundary is offshore and of no concern for us. We are going to continue to enjoy sunshine and low/reasonable humidity right through Friday and it still might hang on into Saturday before the humidity starts to rise.

REGIONAL RADAR
The satellite picture shows fair weather clouds around but they will disappear soon enough. The regional radar shows some scattered thunderstorms in Western Pennsylvania and those should fall apart after dark. Otherwise it is quiet and calm. Skies will be clear tonight and it is a night with the windows open and the air conditioners turned off. Lows will be in the 60s and many areas away from warmer urban centers will be in the 50s.
Thursday and Friday will feature a good deal of sunshine with comfortable humidity both days. Highs in the low to mid 80s on Thursday and in the middle to some upper 80s on Friday. Dew points Thursday will be in the 50s and Friday they will be near or just under 60 which will still be reasonable. Saturday we will see sunshine and it will be more humid as we reach the mid to upper 80s. Sunday should be the first 90 degree day for many areas with humidity in the uncomfortable zone
We don’t see any shower or thunderstorm activity in the area through Sunday. We will likely extend the 90s into the first few days of next week. The next cold front is not due until perhaps Wednesday and it might be another set up for severe weather.
