Bad Hair Weather Heat Humidity Steamy Sunday

The upper air pattern that has brought the continuous flow of downpours and thunderstorms has finally broken down and we are now going to see a few days of heat and humidity. Even without the downpours the bad hair weather pattern continues just without the rain. Sunshine starts the day. There isn’t much cloud cover at all on the satellite loop this morning and the radars are nice and quiet.

We don’t expect any downpours or thunderstorms to develop either today or tomorrow so it is sunshine and highs reaching the 90s this afternoon with high humidity which means beach pool or anywhere cool is in order.

The steamy bad hair weather conditions continue through Tuesday which will be another day of 90s. However the next cold front will approach Tuesday night so the chance for thunderstorms will be introduced to the forecast beginning late in the day Tuesday and lasting into Wednesday. The weather front will have issues pushing through here so there could be some issues Wednesday with clouds and scattered thunderstorms. There is some hint of slightly lower humidity coming for Thursday and Friday however it is a bit iffy at this point. The long range is not very promising regarding a long term break in the heat and humidity. Models go in completely opposite directions in the long range so we will obviously wait to see some consensus going forward.
